MEET MICHAEL MULLER

Michael is a CA (SA) with over two decades of experience, starting CompassPoint Consulting after 18 years in the corporate world. He became successful early in his career by landing his first CFO role six years post-qualification. He continued as CFO for nine years in charge of various companies in different industries, including one listed on the London Stock Exchange (AIM).

Throughout his corporate career, Michael successfully overhauled finance functions, implemented sound financial and management controls and achieved a complete turnaround and restructuring of a business, turning massive losses into profits. During this time, he developed the skills and passion for fixing and transforming businesses no matter the underlying issues. Coupled with his vision of assisting those in need, he founded Ascendant Wealth (later rebranded as CompassPoint Consulting) to assist companies needing financial and business tools and advice.
